Film Synopsis
In 1975, eight-year-old Sarah lives with her Catholic foster parents in the small Belgian town of Alsemberg. One day, her biological father, whom she has never met before, turns up and takes her to Paris for the weekend. It is in Morocco that Sarah wakes up, to the sound of the call to prayer.
