Film Synopsis

The spahi Jean Peyral is in love with the coquettish Cora. When he discovers that she has been unfaithful to him, Jean attempts suicide but is saved by a young local woman, Fatou. During a reconnaissance patrol, Jean is killed and Fatou allows herself to be buried in the sand.
