Film Synopsis

Triboulet is the court jester of King François I of France.  He is hated by the courtiers, who conspire to rob him of the young woman who lives with him and whom they take to be his mistress.  In fact, the woman is Blanche, Triboulet's daughter.  Despite the precautions her father takes to keep his daughter out of sight, the king manages to gain access to her quarters and, posing as a student, he steals her heart.  One evening, Triboulet returns to find his house empty - his daughter has been kidnapped!  In a rage, he storms into the Louvre Palace in time to see Blanche leaving the king's bedroom.  Bent on revenge, the jester hires the king's swords master Saltabadil to kill the man who has corrupted his daughter, not knowing that the man in question is the king himself...
