Film Synopsis

Pierre Jouffroy is the 20-year-old son of a blue collar worker who was killed in an accident at work.  After a communist meeting, he meets Alain and Corinne, two young academics who are dedicated to the revolutionary cause.  After the death of his mother, Pierre becomes legally responsible for his sister Nathalie, but because he doesn't have a job the young girl risks being taken into care by the state.  Reluctantly, Pierre accepts an offer from a gay pimp but later turns against him and kills him in cold blood, putting into practice Alain's revolutionary ideas.  Betrayed by his friends, Pierre is arrested but remains defiant.
