Le Potager de mon grand-père (2016)
Directed by Martin Esposito

Documentary
aka: My Grandpa's Garden

Film Synopsis

Martin Esposito's grandfather is still struggling to put behind him the loss of his dear wife when he decides to take up gardening.  It proves to be an effective form of therapy and the 85-year-old old man is soon immersed in his new hobby.  He takes great care in the choice of seeds that he plants, and intends adhering to traditional methods, without the use of pesticides.  As he busily occupies himself growing tomatoes, cucumbers and other plants, the old man allows himself to be filmed by his affectionate grandson, and together they both begin to develop a far more profound appreciation of nature and its ancient rhythms...
