Film Synopsis

Nicolas Borain is a bassist whose only happiness is to be near his neighbour, Suzanne, whom he adores.  But when she starts taking an interest in a millionaire he understandably becomes somewhat disgruntled.  As a scandal erupts Nicolas finds himself demoted to the back of the orchestra.  The millionaire offers to help him, providing he agrees to appear as a white Negro...
