Film Synopsis
Aladdin is surprised when his mother makes him a present of an old lamp which she bought in the marketplace. Caught red-handed whilst committing a robbery, the young man takes flight and hides himself in a grotto. Here, he accidentally rubs the lamp and all of a sudden a huge gigantic apparition appears from nowhere and grants him three wishes. Aladdin naturally asks the genie to drive away his pursuers, and his saviour gladly obliges. One of the men who was chasing Aladdin, Omar, stays behind and decides to tag along with him. They become the best of friends and soon join a convoy that is bound for the city of Basra, where the engagement of the Prince Moluk to the Princess Zaina is soon to take place...© James Travers
