Film Synopsis
Julien Montel, a once famous singer, is believed to have drowned during a sea crossing some time ago. His wife Renée has since remarried, not knowing that Julien is still very much alive. Afflicted with amnesia, he lives as a fisherman under the name of Paolo in Portugal. When an impresario hears him singing one day he immediately signs him up for Radio Monte-Carlo. Julien appears destined for a second shot at stardom, but when he appears at the Opéra his memory returns to him, just as Renée hears his voice over the airwaves. Realising that someone has attempted to kill him Julien plans to take his revenge...© James Travers
