Film Synopsis

Monsieur Sim is a man who has lost his zest for living.  After losing his wife and his job, he travels to Italy to see his father, but the latter cannot even be bothered to share his meals with him.  Then he receives an unexpected proposition: to travel the length and breadth of France to sell a revolutionary new kind of toothbrush, one that markets itself as a milestone in oral hygiene.  Monsieur Sim takes advantage of his new profession to revisit his past, including his first love and his daughter...
