Film Synopsis

Rose is a hardworking and dependable washerwoman who, through her work, develops an incredibly close bond of affection with her employers' little boy.  Mistakenly accused of theft one day, she loses her job and has to look elsewhere for work.  She is later shocked to hear that the little boy she loved so dearly is now seriously ill and might die from his illness at any moment.  After all medical intervention has failed them, the boy's distraught parents allow Rose to sit and pray beside the stricken child.   Her prayers to Saint Thérèse de Lisieux do not go unheeded.  Against all the odds, the little boy recovers...
