Film Synopsis

Benjamine, the daughter of a successful chocolate manufacturer named Lapistole, is vexed when her car breaks down.  She ends up spending the night with Paul Norman, a placid young civil servant who is about to get married to his superior's daughter.  Within no time, Benjamine has inadvertently managed to cause Paul and his fiancée to break off their engagement. With the help of her friends, Benjamine will end up marrying the honest functionary herself...
