Film Synopsis

Rugby coach Konglof makes his fortune on the back of the success of his team, the Charlots, who have just won the France-England match.  Konglof welches on a deal he had agreed by fleeing with his daughter, Claire, whose hand in marriage he had promised to the team's manager, Philippot.  He settles in the Provençal village of Brizouilles, where he puts himself forward in the location elections.  Thanks to a massive publicity campaign, it is certain that he will be elected the next mayor.  Then the Charlots put in an unexpected appearance...
