La Femme de mes rêves (1931)
Directed by Jean Bertin

Comedy
aka: My Dream Woman

Film Synopsis

One day, a rich and attractive American widow, Evelyn, falls under the spell of a penniless young musician named Fred.  For her, it is love at first sight; for him, it is a miracle he can scarcely believe is happening.  Before he knows it, the impecunious young man is living the life of Riley in his love-struck admirer's hotel suite.  It is the kind of life a man can get used to, and this is what Fred resolves to do.  After pulling off a spectacular business deal, he finds he has enough money of his own to marry whoever he chooses and make his dreams a reality...
