Film Synopsis
Ariane is a talented young violinist who just can't say no when a good-looking
conductor named Christen asks her to marry him. It seems to be the
right thing to do at the time, especially for a thirty-something woman who
is keen to get on with her life. Unfortunately, there is a slight problem.
Ariane is already married and hasn't seen her ex for over two years.
She manages to find herself a lawyer who is confident of finalising a divorce
within one week. All that Ariane has to do now is find her former spouse
Nino and persuade him to go along with the divorce. What can possibly
go wrong?
Optimistic that everything will turn out for the best, Ariane heads off to
Italy with Christien, and it isn't long before she is putting her request
to her ex-husband. If Ariane had been expecting Nino to jump up and
down in glee at the prospect of a permanent separation she is in for a disappointment.
It's clear that he has mixed feelings about the whole matter, but he agrees
he will give his former partner what she wants if she will consent to share
a romantic few days with him in Paris. Ariane has no choice but to
accept this seemingly innocent proposal, but in doing so she has no idea
what she is letting herself in for...
