Film Synopsis
In the people's republic of Bubunne, it is the women who hold the reins
of power, doing all the important jobs whilst the men dutifully stay at
home to serve their career-oriented wives. Jacky is one member of
the downtrodden sex, a boy of twenty who dreams the impossible dream of
marrying the daughter of his country's female dictator. When the
latter arranges a ball to find a suitable husband for her daughter,
Jacky's dreams of happiness appear thwarted by his step family...
