Inavouables (2013)
Directed by Frédéric Cerulli

Drama

Film Synopsis

Virgile has his own reasons for wanting to forget his past when he returns to his former home in the south of France.  He has been away from the area for five years and his friends are naturally glad to see him back, not having heard from him in all this time.  Of course no one believes him when he says he has been away on a humanitarian mission.  It is far more likely he has been in prison.  Virgile's dark secret weights heavy upon him as his friends celebrate his unexpected homecoming.  But euphoria quickly switches to desperation when one of his friends is accidentally killed.  Virgile's terrible past has suddenly caught up with him, and this time there is no escape...
