aka: To the Extreme

Film Synopsis

Anne and Thomas are two of a kind, childhood friends who both lost their parents during a disastrous Alpine expedition.  Now in their mid twenties, Anne has learned to live with her loss, but Thomas pursues a life of self-destructive excess in an attempt to blot out the past.  When his neighbour, a single mother, dies, making her young son Gregoire an orphan, Thomas is reminded of his own situation.  Knowing too well what Gregoire's feelings are, Thomas and Anne decide to take him under their wing, and in doing so manage to rebuild their own lives...
