Film Synopsis

One day, Renée, alias Guinguette, decides to give up her career as a prostitute and opens a riverside bar.  She persuades her maid Julie to join her in her new business, not knowing the trouble the latter's teenage daughter will cause.  Before long, Renée falls in love with an attractive man named Marco, who belongs to a band of car thieves led by The Viscount.  Guinguette's bar turns out to be the ideal hide-out for the crooks...
