Crime / Thriller
aka: The Informant

Film Synopsis

For the needs of his family, Marc Duval, a Frenchman expatriated to Gibraltar, becomes an undercover agent for French customs.  Through his work, he earns the trust of Claudio Lanfredi, a powerful cocaine importer associated with Colombian cartels.  As he becomes increasingly drawn into the nefarious world of drugs trafficking, Marc finds he is taking ever greater risks.  But as he climbs the ranks of the cartel, he also acquires a liking for luxury and easy money.  Constantly living on a razor's edge, he soon realises that only by lying can he stay alive.  When English customs men enter the fray to arrest Lanfredi, the stakes are raised even higher, and it looks as if Marc's family are going to have to pay the price...
