Gangsterdam (2017)
Directed by Romain Lévy

Comedy / Action

Film Synopsis

Ruben, Durex and Nora are three final year college students who are anxious for what the future has in store for them.  Ruben has already failed his exam through lack of confidence, and Nora, for whom he has secretly nurtured a deep passion, is in the same boat.  Ruben is surprised to learn that Nora is peddling drugs but agrees to accompany her to Amsterdam to pick up her latest consignment of illegal narcotics.  Ruben had hoped that this would be the ideal opportunity for him to get to know Nora a little better, but of course Durex has to insist on coming along with them.  What should have been a fairly harmless expedition to the coolest capital in Europe suddenly takes a dramatic turn when it becomes apparent that Nora's drug suppliers are among Amsterdam's most notorious criminals.  Ruben and his friends have to grow up fast if they are to survive this, the most gruelling test of their lives...
