Film Synopsis

Jean and Madeleine are two modest workers who have fallen in love.  A disastrous evening drives them apart forever, or so they think.  Two years later, they meet again by chance.  Jean has enlisted in the Foreign Legion; Madeleine is married to a German aristocrat.  When it is revealed that Madeleine's husband is a spy, she and Jean can marry at last.
