Film Synopsis

News radio station R2I sends its best reporter, Frank Bonneville, and his sound engineer, Albert Poussin, to Iraq to make a special report on the country.  Albert is suffering from chronic depression after learning that his wife has just left him; he doesn't yet know that this was the result of a one night stand that his wife had with Frank.  When Albert loses the money and air tickets, the two men decide to fabricate their news stories and send in reports from Paris.  Things get a little out of hand when they pretend to have been taken hostage and a national campaign is launched to get them released...

The best of American cinema

The very best of German cinema
sb-img-25
German cinema was at its most inspired in the 1920s, strongly influenced by the expressionist movement, but it enjoyed a renaissance in the 1970s.
The best of Russian cinema
sb-img-24
There's far more to Russian movies than the monumental works of Sergei Eisenstein - the wondrous films of Andrei Tarkovsky for one.
The greatest French Films of all time
