Film Synopsis

A road accident in Nîmes brings the toreador Francisco Jimenez into contact with Manuel Vasquez, a radiologist.  The latter lives a sheltered life with his wife Marion, who shares his interest in classical music.  A former surgeon who caused the accidental death of a patient during an operation, the son of a Republican who died in the fight against Franco, Manuel rejects everything that reminds him of Spain...
