Film Synopsis

Early one morning in Bobigny, in the northern suburbs of Paris, the body of a dead woman is found near to an illicit gambling joint.  The dead woman is Eponine Chaligny, the wife of Jean-Éric Chaligny, an influential French businessman.  The murder has taken place at a time of severe social unrest in France, and this is reflected in the two contrasting individuals who are assigned to investigate the crime: local cop Ousmane Diakité and Parisian police chief François Monge, two people who inhabit very different worlds...
