Dans les forêts de Sibérie (2016)
Directed by Safy Nebbou

Adventure
aka: In the Forests of Siberia

Film Synopsis

A burning desire for freedom drives 30-something Teddy, the headman on a multimedia project, to abandon his cluttered, unfulfilled life and seek the calm of a hermit-like existence in Siberia, in a lonely cabin on the banks of Lake Baikal.  Straight away, he is assailed both by the elements and the intense solitude of his new life.  When the weather permits, Teddy goes for long walks in this barren wilderness, and he soon grows to like his new life.  One night, he loses his way in a fierce storm and is rescued by Alexei, a Russian who has been living as a poacher in the woods for years.  The two men could hardly be more different, yet as they get to know one another a bond of friendship quickly establishes itself between them...
