Film Synopsis
In Montreal, 17-year-old Rachel rebels against her mother and a life
that seems to offer her nothing of any value. When a young
contemporary dance teacher is released from prison, she feels impelled
to follow her and inveigle her way into her life. Jeanne takes a
liking to Rachel and helps her to discover her identity through
dance. Rachel finds she can channel her feelings of revolt
through her art and gradually feels more positive about life. But
as she makes the painful transition to adulthood, she is once gain
confronted by violence...
