Film Synopsis

In a not too distant apocalyptic future, in a New York City overrun with rats, Lafayette divides his time between the Waxworks Museum where he works and his friends, who include Luigi, an asthmatic and disillusioned anarchist.  Lafayette's life changes suddenly when Luigi presents him with a baby monkey.  Lafayette names the animal Cornelius and decides to raise him as his own child.
