Film Synopsis

In a remote village of the Maghreb in northwest Africa, two wedding convoys converge on the small building of a religious leader.  In the ensuing confusion, the families mix up the brides, who are veiled identically.   Sultana, a local woman, and Kenza, a young French woman forced into marriage by her bother, decide to rebel, each in her own way, against the traditions of their people...
