C'est beau la vie quand on y pense (2017)
Directed by Gérard Jugnot

Comedy / Drama
aka: Accidental Family

Film Synopsis

Loïc Le Tallec has never had much of a relationship with his son, but when the latter dies suddenly in a car accident he is completely devastated.  His one consolation is that in dying his son was able to give life to someone else, through a heart transplant.  Through persistence, Loïc manages to find out the identity of the recipient of his son's heart - a young man named Hugo.  Unpredictable and prone to wild flights of fancy, Hugo is not the easiest of men to get to know.  He drinks, he smokes and one night he goes riding on a pony, convinced that it is a unicorn.  Having gained the young man's confidence, Loïc invites him to accompany him to Brittany, where they try to get to know each other better.  Here, Hugo falls for Hoëllig, a waitress in a pancake house, whilst Loïc is attended to by the amiable Lisa...
