Film Synopsis

Astérix and Obélix have their work cut out when they are tasked with making a man of Goudurix, their chieftain's adolescent nephew.  Not only is Goudurix a coward of the first rank, he shows no sign of changing no matter what the well-meaning Astérix throws at him.  Meanwhile, the Vikings have arrived in Gaul, looking for a 'champion of fear' who will bring them success in their subsequent raids.  When Goudurix is kidnapped by the Vikings Astérix and Obélix hastily set about rescuing him.  In spite of himself, Goudurix is soon involved in a devious plot that will lead him to the beautiful Abba...
