Pomme and Pierre are a couple who are beginning to wonder why they bother
staying together. Their relationship has become so strained that the
smallest thing can trigger an almighty row. Pomme protests that Pierre
no longer loves her. He chastises her for drinking the last bottle
of champagne. Recently, they have started taking long walks together
in the woods. It is during one of these innocent rambles that Pomme tells
Pierre she is not going to go back home with him. It seems that finally
they have reached the point of no return. Pierre has no idea what to
do next...

Science-fiction came into its own in B-movies of the 1950s, but it remains a respected and popular genre, bursting into the mainstream in the late 1970s.
