Absolument fabuleux (2001)
Directed by Gabriel Aghion

Comedy
aka: Absolutely Fabulous

Film Synopsis

Eddie and Patsy are two of a kind.  In their wild, hedonistic youth they took part in the events of May 1968, burnt their bras and became militant feminists with a fervour which rivals that of today's Islamic fundamentalists.  Now, in their wild, hedonistic middle age, they continue their two-woman crusade against male-enforced domesticity.  Men have their uses, naturally, but no man is ever going to put a chain round Eddie or Patsy's neck and make them unpaid slaves to the male ego.   When they aren't out shopping for the latest fashion accessories with which to impress their very select friends, they are out partying and bingeing on caviar and champagne.  The only flaw in this perfect life is that Eddie has a daughter, Safrane, who wants absolutely nothing of her mother's absolutely fabulous lifestyle...
