Film Synopsis
Eva Ritter leads an easy and uncomplicated life until her parents die in
tragic circumstances. With nothing to fall back on, she ends up working as an au pair for a bourgeois
couple in Paris, where she meets and falls in love with a promising young
architect. After a whirlwind romance, the architect goes off to Africa,
leaving Eva behind. On impulse, she then marries a rich South American,
and when he dies she finds herself with a vast fortune at her disposal.
Eva now has everything she could possibly want, expect the love of the man
who once meant so much to her...
