Film Synopsis

When a large amount of money is embezzled in the French Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, a government investigator is sent to look into the matter and resolve it as tactfully as possible.  Any hope of a tidy resolution is shattered when the diligent investigator dies suddenly from a heart attack in his office.  Not knowing how to deal with this unexpected turn, the dead man's two assistants agree to hide the body, but in doing so they bring about a bizarre sequence of events that leads them to take control of the consulate.   As the stakes are raised, the lies and deceit become increasingly hard to deal with.  When the director of human resources and Vice Consul see through the deception our enterprising heroes must exercise every last ounce of initiative they have to avoid a catastrophe...
