His best films as a film director include L'Été meurtrier (1983), Effroyables jardins (2003) and Dialogue avec mon jardinier (2007), and whose best work as a screenwriter include Pas de caviar pour tante Olga (1965), Dialogue avec mon jardinier (2007) and Bienvenue parmi nous (2012).
