Burt Reynolds is an American actor, film director and producer whose birth name is Burton Leon Reynolds Jr.. He was born in Waycross, Georgia, USA on 11th February 1936.

His best films as an actor include Tom Gries's 100 Rifles (1969), Arnold Laven's comedy Sam Whiskey (1969), John Boorman's thriller Deliverance (1972), Bill Forsyth's Breaking In (1989) and Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights (1997), and whose best work as a film director include Gator (1976), The End (1978) and Sharky's Machine (1981).
