Overview
Zouzou is a French crime film first released in 1934,
directed by Marc Allégret.
The film is based on a novel by G. Abatino and stars Josephine Baker, Jean Gabin, Pierre Larquey, Yvette Lebon and Illa Meery.

Synopsis
Zouzou (Josephine Baker, wonderful) is waiting for her oldest friend to come back from
the sea and fall in love with her. Of course, despite Zouzou’s great kindness and loyalty,
Jean still sees her as his twin sister. When Jean is released from prison, having been
cleared of murder, Zouzou goes to the prison to meet him, only to see him embracing her
friend Claire (Yvette Lebon). Zouzou returns to the theatre and to a successful career.
Will she ever finds true love?
