Summary
A Taiwanese director is invited to make a film about the story of Salome at the Louvre museum.  Even though he can speak neither French nor English, he insists on casting Jean-Pierre Léaud in the role of King Herod.  Meanwhile, the film’s publicity-conscious producers have decided that a star model be given the part of Salome.  When filming gets underway it isn’t long before the whole project becomes derailed once the director has learned of the death of his mother...
