Synopsis
André Duroc, a luckless inventor, has a plan to extort some money from his wealthy aunt, Solange.  He intends to pass his friend Luc off as a Duke, when in fact he is nothing more than a nightclub porter.  Aunt Solange believes that by inviting a member of the aristocracy to her château she will improve her chances of being elected honorary president of the league of rites and customs.  When André’s scam is uncovered, Luc leaves the château in a hurry and somehow gets entangled in some military manoeuvres...
