Synopsis
Having spent several years working in America, journalist Philippe
Marlot is persuaded by his editor to return to France so that he can
write an extensive report on his home country. Marlot has been
away so long that he almost feels he is visiting the country for the
first time. When he learns that his ex-wife has gone missing, the
young reporter is uncertain whether to go looking for her or to resume
his hitch-hiking tour of France...
