Synopsis
Victor and Annette are a couple living in Vienna with their daughter
Pamela. As it is spring, Victor shuns work and spends his days,
and often his nights, outside, frittering away his time and his
money. Annette loves Victor intensely and is confident that, once
they are back in Paris, he will pull himself together. But,
on their return to France, it is not long before Victor resumes his bad
habits. After a violent argument, he moves in with a drug addict
with whom he has fallen in love. Disgusted, Annette leaves Victor
and disappears with Pamela. Eleven years later, Pamela is
seventeen and lives in Paris with her mother. One day, she learns
that her father is living in the same town and decides that she has to
see him again...
