The Call of the Wild is a British-French-Italian adventure film first released in 1972, directed by Ken Annakin.  The film is based on a novel by Jack London and stars Charlton Heston, Michèle Mercier, Raimund Harmstorf, George Eastman and Maria Rohm.  It has also been released under the title: L’Appel de la forêt.  Our overall rating for this film is: good.
