Summary
Owing to his oft-related exploits of derring-do, Tartarin has become something of a
local hero in Tarascon, his home town in southern France.
Tartarin is most proud of his hunting achievements, but his boasts of
being a fearless game hunter have unexpected repercussions. To
save his reputation, he finds himself in Africa, hoping to bag a few
lions. He gets more than he bargained for...
