Summary
One July, fashion illustrator Sophie Malaterre is at a loss over how to spend her summer holidays.  The 25-year-old Canadian has no boyfriend, no one to go away with.  Then she hears about a website switch.com, which allows people to exchange their homes for a month.  Sophie is delighted when she finds an apartment in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower.  Her first day in France surpasses her expectations.  The next morning, she is awoken by policemen.  It appears that in the room next to hers a headless body has been discovered.  Unable to prove that she is the owner of the apartment, Sophie immediately finds herself cast as murder suspect numéro un.  With horror, she realises that it is not only her apartment that she has switched...
