Summary
For Michel, a photographer, it’s love at first sight when he meets Sophie during his stay in Venice.  He does not know that Sophie is the mistress of the wealthy baron Eric von Bergen, a jealous and calculating man.  Von Bergen is so incensed by Michel’s interest in Sophie that he ask his bodyguard, Sforzi, to do something about it.  In return, the baron tells Sforzi that he has put a large sum of money for her in a foreign bank account.  In an attempt to steal this money, Sforzi kills the baron and arranges matters so that Michel is the obvious suspect...
