Synopsis
An adventurer steals an ancient book from a tribe of Bohemians so that he can make a fortune selling precious stones.  His aim is to impress the beautiful Odette into marrying him, but she is already engaged – to Jean.  The ever-resourceful detective Rouletabille responds to the call of his friend Jean to foil the scheme and resolve a dangerous intrigue with the Bohemians....
