Summary
The director of a large shipbuilding operation in Hamburg, André
Dalberg is so preoccupied with his work that he often neglects his
wife, Hélène. During a stay on the French Riviera,
their marriage looks as though it may be heading for the rocks.
Whilst André is busy negotiating a deal with a wealthy Greek
ship owner, Hélène allows herself to be seduced by a
handsome young journalist...
