Summary
A party of French tourists arrive in Los Angeles for the holiday of a lifetime on the West Coast of the United States.  Unfortunately, their tour guide, Mathias, has just learned that his travel company, Dream Tour, has gone bankrupt – a fact which he somehow has to keep from his customers since he has no money to reimburse them. So much for the American dream...
Review
Jean-Paul Salomé’s second full-length film is part road movie, part travelogue, benefiting from an attractive cast and an even more attractive location.  It’s a pity these pluses aren’t bolstered by a solid screenplay and more confident direction.  The situations are banal, the characters uninteresting and/or absurd, and there’s a point at which the trite dialogue, recurring clichés and lack of any substance crushes one’s interest in the film.
