Synopsis
Once a famous pianist, Carl Krasner is now a bitter and violent man,
having lost the use of his hands in a terrible accident. He
fritters away his money in a casino, knowing that he will soon be
bankrupt, but he doesn’t care. He lives in a villa near the sea
with his beautiful wife Bella, his daughter and his secretary.
Both women know that Bella doesn’t love her husband anymore and that
she is merely waiting for the right moment to leave him. Bella
thinks that day has come when she meets Ralph Scaffari on the
beach. Fearing Carl’s reaction, she is surprised when he agrees
to a divorce her – but on one condition. Because Carl is now
ruined, Bella must help him to plan and execute a fraud against his
life insurance company...
