Summary
In Ocober 1972, Louis Malle and his team spent ten days interviewing
passers-by in Paris’ busy Place de la République. The
result is a colourful human collage that is both amusing and
moving. We encounter a wide variety of people, ranging from a
vivacious woman who has recently lost her husband to a Jewish tailor who
spent the war in hiding...
